You Know You’re in Scarcity When...

So many of us are walking through life with a full schedule and an empty feeling.
We’re smart. Resourceful. Driven.
We’re making it work. Paying the bills. Doing “fine.”
And still—something’s tight.
Like no matter how hard we try, we’re not really free.
This? This is scarcity.
Not just the numbers kind. The nervous system kind.
The kind that hides behind productivity, perfectionism, and Pinterest boards.
And it’s sneaky as hell.
Let’s name it. Claim it. And then—burn it.
😬 1. You feel a little jab when someone else wins.
Your bestie gets a raise. A client hits six figures.
And while you smile and clap and say “Amazing!”
Your stomach dips.
You suddenly start comparing. Spiraling. Questioning your own path.
That quiet resentment? That sting of “Why not me?”
It’s not because you’re petty—it’s because you’ve been taught to believe there’s only so much to go around.
But their win isn’t your loss.
Their expansion is your permission.
🛑 2. You delay what you desire until “the numbers make sense.”
You keep putting off the dream trip, the course, the thing your soul’s been begging for.
You say, “Maybe next year.”
But next year turns into… next year. Again.
Scarcity says: “Be careful.”
Abundance says: “Be conscious—but don’t postpone your life.”
Joy isn’t a reward.
It’s a resource.
🧠 3. You constantly feel like there’s never enough—of anything.
Not enough money.
Not enough time.
Not enough rest.
Not enough YOU.
You wake up tired. You go to sleep anxious. You’re stuck in “catch-up” mode, even when nothing is technically wrong.
That’s not just busyness.
That’s a scarcity loop.
And it doesn’t break by doing more.
It breaks by becoming more resourced—emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
🫣 4. You feel guilty for wanting more.
You’ve convinced yourself your desires are too much.
You edit your dreams down to “realistic.”
You tell yourself to just be grateful.
But you can be grateful and want more.
Gratitude doesn’t cancel desire.
Desire is the GPS of your becoming.
Scarcity tells you to settle.
Abundance says, “Go get what’s already yours.”
🕰️ 5. You keep waiting for the “right” time to live your actual life.
You’re always preparing. Planning. Postponing.
You say, “One day, when I have more money, more clarity, more time…”
But someday never arrives—because you never choose it.
Scarcity delays.
Abundance decides.
You don’t build freedom by waiting.
You build it by moving—even when it’s imperfect.
💬 Truth moment:
If any of this hit a little too close to home, take a deep breath.
This isn’t a call-out—it’s a call in.
Because you’re not stuck. You’re not broken.
You’re just repeating patterns that were never designed to set you free.
And it’s time to shift.
